We are there for you - Our service is set up to test PPE (personal protective equipment) at least once a year.

 

Our company checks personal winches in accordance with legal regulations, repairs them if necessary and provides them with a test certificate as proof of the safety check that has been carried out.

 

Our offer for the rescue systems on your hydraulic structures is the annual risk assessment according to DGUV rules 114-014 - Hydraulic engineering and water management work (previously: BGR/GUV-R 2102).

The use of PPE (life jackets) is mandatory on hydraulic structures and on federal authority ships in order to prevent the danger of falling into the water.

 

Rescuing employees remains one of the major challenges. After just a few minutes, life-threatening situations arise in the water due to hypothermia and possible heart and circulatory failure.

 

The immediate loss of strength no longer enables the accident victim to climb up fixed ladders or pilot ladders independently.
In addition, due to the water temperature - the time factor- a circumstance that plays a vital role until the emergency services arrive.

 

In SOLAS, plans and procedures for rescuing injured people from the water have been prescribed for all SOLAS ships, which you must submit (see also Chapter III, Rule 17-1, Guidelines for the development of plans and procedures for recovery of persons from the water] - the IMO.

Horizontal recovery is recommended as the primary recovery method here!

 

Even if there is no requirement to have equipment on your ships, MOJE Rescue Systems recommends implementing the regulation as a recommended course of action for rescuing people who have had an accident from the water.

 

The need for a suitable recovery system allows you to gain time in an emergency and activate the rescue chain until the emergency services arrive.

 

The rescue workers will provide complete patient care after rescue and can prepare you very well with the immediate measures. The establishment of a mountain lift rescue system is therefore a component of the derivation of measures from the risk assessments according to the ArbSchG, which must always be taken into account in accordance with the current state of safety technology.

 

The MOJE M1 water rescue lift and the recovery crane are certified rescue equipment according to the DGUV.
